Journey from Murmansk
Leave the city for the selected village. We arrange the travel time and visit slot together so the day has room for the cultural programme and the reindeer ride.
Meet your hosts
Explore the settlement and hear about the traditions presented by the hosts. Buildings, storytelling and other activities vary by venue and are listed in your programme.
Meet the reindeer
Spend time near the animals with their handlers. Feeding and photo opportunities follow the venue’s instructions and the activities included in your visit.
A ride through the snow
Take the agreed reindeer sled ride from 1 December when there is sufficient snow. Afterwards, return to Murmansk; any food or tea service is specified in the booking.
Good to know
The selected village, cultural activities, ride length and meal arrangements are confirmed before booking. A visit or feeding session alone is not a sled ride. Sledding depends on snow conditions.
Language: English-speaking accompaniment; venue staff and activity instruction language confirmed separately.
Meals are not included. For programmes with a meal stop, we reserve a table; you order and pay directly. Private groups can request a food pre-order. Tell us about allergies and dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, Jain, egg-free or other preferences.

The season starts from 1 December, subject to sufficient snow and the venue’s operating conditions. We confirm the ride for your date before booking.
Which Sámi village will we visit?
The host venue is named in your itinerary. Different villages offer different programmes, so activities and meals are confirmed for the selected location.
