Northern Lights Tour from Murmansk
Spend an evening looking for the northern lights outside Murmansk. We choose the route using the cloud forecast and aurora activity, then stop away from city lights. The trip usually takes 3–5 hours, including return transport, with English-speaking accompaniment. Seeing the aurora depends on the sky and cannot be guaranteed.

Meet in Murmansk
We confirm your meeting point and departure time before the outing. The evening begins with a look at the forecast and a route towards promising stretches of clear sky.
Follow the night sky
Travel beyond the streetlights and stop where the sky is open. The route may change during the evening as cloud cover moves across the region.
Watch the aurora
At each viewing stop, take time to look up and let your eyes adjust. If the lights appear, enjoy their changing shapes and colours; you can return to the vehicle between outdoor stops.
Return to the city
The outing usually lasts 3–5 hours, including travel. Return timing follows the viewing conditions and the route. Guide photos and hot tea are included in the tour price.

Is one night enough?
You can book one evening, but keeping several nights in Murmansk gives more flexibility around the weather. Extra outings are booked separately.
What should I bring?
Wear warm layers, insulated footwear, a hat and gloves. Guide photos and hot tea are included; you can also bring your own camera.
